10:30am - Doors Open
A chance to arrive meet people and have a chat and catch up
11:00am - Welcome to WDC 2008
Make your way to Cinema 1 for a quick Introduction and welcome. If you came along last year you know what it’s all about but it’ll be a chance to find out what’s going on this year.
11:15am - James Box
James will be taking the floor for a presentation on usability and the ever so important user experience.
12:00pm - Working in the Industry and Loving the Web!
The web is a great thing and a great thing has great people working with it, around it and on it. This is your chance to ask questions to some of the biggest and newest names in the Industry.
1:00pm - Lunch
A chance to mingle with all the speakers and panel members over lunch.
2:00pm - Chris Garrett
Chris will be taking you away from the Browser and showing you what else you can do with the Web at your fingertips!
2:45pm - Patrick H. Lauke
A chance to sit back and take in every word Patrick is offering up on Web Standards, a key part to today’s Web!
3:30pm - Tea and Coffee
Get yourself a quick refreshment!
4:15pm - Working in the South West
Thinking of sticking it out in Bristol after University? Then find out from some of the local’s what it’s like to work in and around Bristol.
5:00pm - Close
You’ve had a great day listening to some great speakers, but it doesn’t end here. Although the event is over there will be a beer waiting….
